I've been thinking about New Year's resolutions, and realize that I can't even remember  the ones I made last year, let alone whether I've achieved them! So in 2013 I resolve just to do my best whatever  life throws at me. I hope that 2013 brings you health and contentment. 
This painting is Whangamata Beach- an iconic Kiwi holiday spot- it's just been purchased and is off to an expat in Western Australia , hopefully to remind them of home and what NZ summers are occasionally like!

To those of you who missed out on buying a calendar at the opening -  Andrew will have more in stock this week. Lots of people have been calling into the Gallery to check out the exhbition - I'm sorry that we weren't in Wellington longer to say hi , but thanks for coming along. Remember that it runs until Christmas Eve , and it's much easier to view the paintings without a packed crowd of people!
