January is already galloping past and I've been blogless! My studio has been busy with a stream of visitors from both New Zealand and overseas. I enjoy meeting lots of interesting people, some of whom are artists too, and finding out where they've been and where they're going. And it's not just about art - often it's sending someone off with a map, lending them a frying pan(!) or pointing them in a direction of a nice meal. And they do sometimes take a print or a painting with them on their journey :)
I'm also busy with lots of planned events..
First up is Artwalk Rotoiti - Saturday February 4th 10am - 4pm . Nine local artist (including me) will have their work displayed along the Bellbird Walk at Kerr Bay. Come along and meet us and see what we do.
Second on my list is my exhibition "Painting With Words"  at Yealands Estate Marlborough Gallery In Blenheim.This is my first solo exhibition in the South Island and will feature watercolour and collage works. The Exhibition opens on Friday 9th March from 6pm , and runs until Sunday 24th March - more about this later, but I'd love you to join us at the opening.
