Hi Blog Readers - I'm sorry that my website seemed to send you all a long list of blogs just now instead of the current one!
I don't know why it did that - maybe you'll enjoy looking through some older ones and hopefully next time it will behave sensibly again :)

Although that's hard to believe , looking out the window at the rain. But my tulips are tentatively poking their leaves up,  peonies are poking through the mulch and there are fat buds on the pear tree.
At this time of year it feels as though winter has been going on for a long time, I'm over wearing black and grey merino , and have coloured part of my hair a rebellious turquoise.
I'm hanging out for some colour in the garden, too , and having been buying the odd bunch of spring flowers from the lady ?man? near Richmond who has a flower cart at their gate. So, while I wait for spring to make up her mind I've been framing up some of my watercolour flowers. These are headed for Wall to Wall gallery early next month  - and I'll be painting a watercolour demo of flowers at the gallery on Friday 18th October between 12- 2pm. Please call in for a chat and see how I tackle the subject.
